Uvelink offers coverage to the Vuelta a Murcia
Two helicopters, three motorcycles and a six-camera mobile, the main operations for the deployment of the XXIX Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia.
The Uvelink business unit responsible for the transmission media of the Uveauve group has produced the XXIX Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia 2009 live with great success, which took place from March 4 to 8. The technical device was made up of two helicopters equipped with gyro-stabilized aerial cameras, three racing motorcycles (two for video and one for commentary) as well as a mobile unit with six cameras at the finish line. All of these means have been equipped with the necessary transmission equipment, both by microwave and satellite, to transport the signal from the race to the finish line, thus allowing coverage of the last 40 km of each stage. Many of these stages took place in adverse atmospheric conditions, without affecting the signal sent by Uvelink.
