RTVE commits itself one more year to La Vuelta
Teledeporte will broadcast all the stages of La Vuelta while the most vibrant finals can be seen on La 1.
Start the 73rd edition of La Vuelta y RTVE is committed again to the most important cycling round in Spain. From August 25 to September 16, 21 stages and almost 3,255 kilometers of route that will once again feature Carlos de Andrés and Pedro Delgado in the TVE narration, and that can be followed live on La 1, Teledeporte, RNE and on RTVE.es with multi-signal.
Seran 21 stages, with nine high finishes and three arrivals at unprecedented peaks: Alfaguara (in the Granada mountains), Les Praeres (in Asturias) and Monte Oiz (on the balcony of Vizcaya). In addition, there will be two time trials: the initial one of 8 kilometers and the sixteenth, of 32.7 kilometers.
The broadcast of all stages will begin on Teledeporte and the most exciting finals can be followed on La 1, as well as the time trial on Saturday the 25th at 7:00 p.m. that will begin the competition.
The other 13 stages whose finals will be broadcast by La 1 starting at 4:00 p.m. are: the 2nd stage, from Marbella to Caminito del Rey (Sunday the 26th); the 4th, Vélez, Málaga – Alfacar, Sierra de Alfaragua (Tuesday 28); the 5th, Granada – Roquetas de Mar (Wednesday the 29th); the 7th, Puerto Lumbreras – Pozo Alcón (Friday the 31st); the 9th, Talavera de la Reina – La Covatilla (Sunday 2); the 11th, Mombuey – Ribeira Sacra, Luintra (Wednesday, September 5); the 12th, Mondoñedo – Faro de Estaca de Bares, Mañón (Thursday the 6th); the 13th, Candás, Carreño – Valle de Sabero, La Camperona (Friday the 7th); the 14th, Cistierna – Les Praeres, Nava (Saturday 8); the 15th, Ribera de Arriba – Lagos de Covadonga (Sunday the 9th); the 17th, Getxo – Vizcaya balcony (Wednesday the 12th); the 19th, Lleida-Andorra-Naturlandia (Friday the 14th); and stage 20, Andorra, Escaldes, Engordany – Coll de la Gallina, Canolich Sanctuary (Saturday, September 15).
Teledeporte will also offer a post after the podium of each stage with interviews and reports.
Carlos de Ándrés and Pedro Delgado will accompany the spectators in all stages. This year they will have the support of Joaquín 'Purito' Rodríguez, one of the greats of Spanish cycling, in the five stages with high finishes (Les Praeres Nava, Lagos de Covadonga, Balcón de Vizcaya and the last two in Andorra). Juan Carlos García also participates in the narration, who will experience each test from the racing motorcycle and will tell what the cameras do not collect, and Alberto Sierra, who will be in charge of the on-site reports.
The News News and Canal 24 Horas will update the information every day, with Josué Elena as special envoy, as well as summaries and the best images of each day.
Stage finals also in RNE
Every afternoon RNE will broadcast the stage finishes starting at 5:00 p.m., with live connections from special envoys Daniel Ampuero, David Garcia and José Francisco Hernandez, and the support of Pedro Molina and Juan Morello.
Furthermore, every day RNE mornings will broadcast a preview of the day's stage and a summary of the previous one; he 2 o'clock diary will tell the last hour through the special envoys; and on weekends, more cycling in Sports Board with Manu Martínez. The Vuelta can be followed live on RTVE.es with multi-signal and on all platforms (computers, mobile devices and connected TV).
