Videotek HD-Star update

Harris has announced the update of this monitor and hand generator, now incorporating new improved functions for audio and video.

Harris Corporation has announced today that a new firmware update for the Videotek HD-Star portable monitor and generator. These novelties include the possibility of automatic and continuous detection of movement in motion generating pattern test signals. The new update car detection input formats allows a format for the test and the control signal generator. The monitor automatically detects the new format by adapting the screen to the correct HD format when it is in HD mode (or the correct one in HD, in SD mode) thus significantly improving its operational capacity. The continuous image update movement provides a three different selectable speeds. This feature improves the generator test signal by increasing the capacity of MPEG tests both in coding and decoding, detecting interruptions.

Among other functions, the Videotek HD-Star includes a test signal generator, color monitor and waveform, vector, analyzer and serial data and audio monitor ... and all this on a 320 × 240 tactable LCD screen configurable according to user preferences. It weighs less than half a kilo and operates with lithium -ion batteries.
