Altair EM-202: Dual Channel Cable Pack

It allows independent or simultaneous communication with both channels A and B, and is compatible with the E-200 series.

With a dual system, sound and light, the new Altair E-200 wired intercom system allows communication independently or simultaneously with both channels (with A,B and A+B listening balance). The aluminum unit is designed for intensive use in applications that require great mobility and has an unbreakable hook for hanging from the belt. The unit can be configured for dynamic or electret microphones, allowing the use of the full variety of micro-headsets on the market. It also has a microphone On/Off/PTT button per channel with ('Push to Talk' function), LED indicator, remote microphone shutdown (MIC-KILL), buzzer button and external configuration preselection (microphone gain, phantom, limiter...). The unit has large call buttons, one per channel, as well as a compressor and limiter for microphone.

The new bodypack comes in the EM-202-3P (3PIN) version for a standard connection with microphone cables and three-pin XLR connector per channel. It does not allow chain connection as it does not incorporate extension connections (link). Also available with an ALTAIR 5P3-202 splitter unit for chaining to the rest of the packs or for conversion to five-pin wiring.

The EM-202-5P (5PIN) version is indicated for connection using QUAD type microphone wiring (2 pairs and mesh) and 5-pin XLR connectors. It allows chain connection by incorporating extension connections (link) with an ALTAIR 5P3-202 splitter unit to branch from 5 pin to a standard 3 pin system.
