A new hybrid cable from Sommer Cable combines HD image, power supply and network

Transit MC 1031 is an all-in-one cable that integrates double-shielded video transport, a CAT.7 and a 3 x 2.5 mm² power line with a flame-resistant PVC coating.

Sommer Cable presents an interesting development with a hybrid cable for use in professional events, in mobile units or in installation technique, among others, in dome camera systems. The new Transit MC 1031 transmits both HD video image as well as current and network signals.

Thanks to the combination of network, power and video transmission according to HD-SDI standard up to 10 Gbit in one compact cable, it is possible to do without running multiple cables over any distance as it is available in custom lengths.
