Sommer Cable defies high temperatures and friction with the Temploflex series
Sommer Cable develops a truly robust microphone cable, especially for use in extreme working conditions with temperatures between -20 and +110ºC. Despite its robustness, it allows it to be rolled easily, presenting high resistance to friction with other elements.
Whether working at extreme temperatures from -20 to +110ºC or as a precaution in case a technician chooses to balance the microphones by hanging them with the cable from a crossbar... the German Sommer Cable has developed the new Tempooflex series, a truly robust microphone cable, especially for use on large stages and live events.
The formula for its robustness is found in its composition: a pair of 0.34 mm² conductors, made of fine copper braid, together with some Kevlar elements for stress relief and an injection around all of this with a special TPE SP cover (Ø7.3 mm).
The shielding, made of aluminized fleece and tinned copper braid, is braided with an optimized angle to facilitate movement, so that the robust cable can also be coiled and can be used both in fixed installations and for mobile functions, perfectly withstanding friction with other elements.
