Sommer Cable launches catalog

Over 548 pages, the catalogue, with versions in Spanish and French, presents all the manufacturer's solutions in both wiring and connectors.

The German manufacturer Sommer Cable has just published its new catalog that includes all its wiring solutions in 548 pages. Its range extends from bulk cable for audio, video and media technology (including a large number of hybrid cables for various uses), plus their corresponding connectors and ready-made cables, to complex distribution systems for floor, wall and table as well as electronic conference systems with corresponding accessories.

Among the novelties of the latest edition, the Aqua Marinex series of cables with transversal water resistance stands out for reliable and long-lasting use in climatic conditions of high humidity, even underwater. It also includes a host of new high-quality connectors from Hicon and Neutrik brands as well as a wide variety of super-compact modular components.

In addition to the detailed information on each product, the new catalog maintains, as before, various informative appendices, such as an introduction to the world of production and the properties of cables, as well as a brief general introduction to audio technology.

Using simple and understandable symbols, the different properties of each cable or the compatibility of components in modular systems are explained.

In the “Support” chapter at the end of the catalog the user will also find the assignment diagrams of the different connectors.
