Sommer Cable renews its management team

Maximilian Blanck and Marie-Kathrin Huber join the management team of the German company Sommer Cable. They will take the place of Friedhelm Sommer, co-founder and CEO for many years, who is retiring after an outstanding career.

Both sons of Rainer Blanck, co-founder and CEO of Sommer Cable, they have been linked to the Straubenhard-based company since they were very young.

During his studies, Maximilian developed, among other things, the SYSBOXX configurator, a tool highly appreciated by clients. Since October 2023, he has been collaborating with the management, sales department, product management and IT area of ​​Sommer cable, in addition to having been key in the launch of the company's new website. With his master's degree in Information Management from KIT Karlsruhe and his experience in an IT project consultancy, he brings the necessary skills and knowledge for Sommer Cable to successfully face future challenges, especially in the digital area. After all, you are very familiar with concepts like machine learning, AI, and IoT.

Marie-Kathrin Huber (née Blanck) also joined the company in August 2023. Thanks to her international studies (M.A.) and her extensive experience in the cultural sector, she has great creativity and notable organizational talent. These skills are a perfect foundation for your work in management, the HR department, and in marketing and sales, especially in the digital and social media areas.
