Remodeling in the Filmax management team
Filmax's Content, Marketing and Development departments are making changes in their management as part of the ambitious production and distribution plan that the company has launched.
Filmax has carried out a restructuring of its management team. From now on, Luis Goyanes assumes the position of marketing director of the company. Goyanes has extensive experience in this area, he was a marketing and strategy consultant for Diamond Cluster with projects in Europe, Latin America and the United States linked to areas such as cell phones and digital businesses; Later he was director of business development at FC Barcelona, as well as a collaborating professor in the Marketing Area of the ESADE business school, a practice that he continues to carry out and combines with his new functions.
On the other hand, Alberto Marini holds the position of executive producer of the group, both for national and international productions. In titles like [REC], [REC] 2, Paintball y Cowards He served as co-executive producer. Marini comes from the Filmax youth team where he joined in 1999 to be part of the Development Department and later took on the role of Development Director and General Director of Content.
From now on, Albert Val and Amelia Mora will jointly lead the Development and Content Directorate. Before this promotion they served as Development Executives. Amelia Mora will develop projects aimed at the international market and will coordinate contact and relations with the publishing sector, while Albert Val will develop projects aimed mainly at the national market and will coordinate contact with new talent and film schools. Both have solvency as screenwriters. In addition to participating in the development of films such as Cowards, by Jose Corbacho and Juan Cruz or [REC]2, by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, together they make their first feature film: Snowflake, which will begin filming in January 2010.
Finally, Alberto Neira assumes the position of Executive Producer of the company's animation projects. Alberto has developed most of his career at Bren Entertainment, the Filmax animation studio in Santiago de Compostela, where he had held the position of Production Director. All the animation projects produced by Filmax Animation appear on his resume: El Cid, the legend, P3K, Pinocchio 3000, Gisaku, nocturnal, Donkey Xote, Perez, the little mouse of your dreams, I and II and, currently, Snowflake.
