RFS reinforces its management team in Latin America
RFS-Radio Frequency Systems is carrying out a restructuring of its management team in Latin America in order to strengthen and expand the multinational's business in the region, enter new strategic segments and prepare for two major events such as the World Cups and the Olympics in Brazil.
The new directors are Marcos Wrobel and Renato França, both RFS collaborators since 2006. Wrobel will be responsible for Brazil in the telecommunications area, while França will focus on other Latin American countries, in addition to the Brazilian non-telecom market.
The challenge for Marcos Wrobel will be to consolidate RFS as a strategic technological partner in network infrastructure, looking ahead to 2014, with the World Cup, and 2016 with the Olympics. “While RFS now has a strong brand in the Brazilian market, we now have to develop actions to strengthen the brand to reaffirm ourselves as a strategic partner with national operators and OEMs working in the country,” said the executive.
An electronic engineer with more than ten years of experience, Wrobel graduated from the Federal University of Paraná, expanding his knowledge in telecommunications in Lyon, France. He began his professional career at Alcatel in 2000. Before joining RFS, he worked for Siemens in Brazil as a product manager.
For its part, França will aim to take advantage of the main activity in the Andean countries and Mercosur. "We are working on a strategy that involves a new sales and support structure. The objective is to develop business in the region completely, be closer to our clients and make our entire portfolio available to achieve their goals," said the director, who will also be responsible for distribution and sales channels in Brazil in strategic sectors, such as broadcasting, oil and gas and public services, among others.
Graduated in Electronic Engineering from the State University of Espirito Santo, França has fifteen years of experience in telecommunications companies. He began his career in Japan in 1995, joining RFS in January 2006 as an account manager.
