Known about this industry in which he has spent more than two decades holding different positions of responsibility in companies such as Quantel, Sony and Panasonic, Norman Rouse now joins Snell as Market Development Manager.

To strengthen the communication and marketing of Snell worldwide, the multinational has just announced the appointment of Norman Rouse as Market Development Manager.

Rouse will boost Snell's visibility in the broadcast and other media markets.

Simon Derry, CEO of Snell, has acknowledged that Rouse "brings twenty-five years of experience working with some of the best brands in the industry, including Sony and Quantel, which has given him a breadth and depth of knowledge. Norman also has deep experience in how broadcasters use technology to solve real-world challenges in response to an ever-changing market."

Rouse joins Snell from Sony Professional, where he was senior director of business solutions and responsible for defining, developing and delivering solutions across the company to all AV sectors of the market. Previously, he was marketing director at Quantel, where he played a key role in the British company's marketing and strategic positioning in areas such as stereoscopy and sQ/Newsbox news systems.

Norman Rouse has been active in other product management and marketing roles at Sony Broadcast and Professional Europe, and was involved in the launch of the D3/5 and DVSPRO formats with Panasonic Broadcast Europe.
