In terms of production, the program The Ellen DeGeneres Show has decided to replace Final Cut Pro systems with an Avid workflow to provide reliable solutions that are compatible with the demands of a national broadcast program. Telepictures Productions, the producers of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the new program that will premiere in the fall Lopez Tonight, has selected eight Media Composer Nitris DX systems, connected to an Avid Unity MediaNetwork shared storage system, so that they can meet the intense and strict needs they encounter when producing an hour-long program, for five days a week. The new Avid HD production solution from SVT in Stockholm consists of approximately 60 Media Composer Nitris DX systems, several Media Composer software and Pro Tools HD systems connected via Video Satellite, as well as several Interplay Assist systems.
