EVS expands its MXF support with OpenCube technology
After numerous tests, EVS has chosen to integrate the OpenCube toolkit for generating MXF files in its XT [2] and XS servers.
OpenCube, a key provider of MXF-based technologies, has signed a licensing agreement with EVS whereby the Belgian company will integrate the OpenCube Toolkit into its EVS XT[2] and XS servers. Finding efficient tools for sharing multimedia files has become a key factor in ensuring the success of a tapeless environment at an affordable price. OpenCube and its MXF-based systems have demonstrated, in the opinion of EVS, an excellent alternative to achieve this objective.
OpenCube MXF Toolkit offers all the features necessary to master MXF and to preserve metadata with a variety of formats such as MPEG2, AVC-I, DNxHD, DVCPRO and JPEG2k. MXF ToolKit has proven to be a solution that is fully compatible with MXF standards and highly compatible with other solutions on the market.
