Sondor Alta-HD: a single telecine for all types of films

Sondor presents its latest Altra-HD in combined 16 and 35 mm formats in a single machine for telecination of all types of films.

Sondor has designed the Altra based on the proven experience, film transport technology and the unique ability to read magnetic films strongly attacked by vinegar syndrome, typical of the Sondor Oma-E.

Added to this is the constant evolution of the Sondor Nova, which allows the Altra to be the only truly “new” telecine, not only in terms of manufacturing, but also in terms of technology.

Thus, it incorporates services with qualities and functions that its competitors cannot offer, such as RS422 control, lower film tensions than those existing in any machine with capstan transport and adjustable maximum speeds, among others. This makes the Sondor Altra an ideal machine for the file restoration and transfer jobs common in film studios.
