Thelight High Power LED Screens

Thelight introduces screens that represent a turning point in professional LED lighting. Its high light output and low consumption constitute a real alternative to any fluorescent or softlight.

Thelight has developed in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Barcelona a technology to which a brand as relevant as Osram has contributed with its high-power LEDs to make a new range of products a reality. This development has been reflected in the 6Light and 4Long articulated light screens composed of aluminum bars that incorporate sets of 3 Osram LEDs, collimated by 40º Fresnel lenses and electronically controlled to produce high quality light and a high color reproduction index, specially calibrated for professional use in photography, cinematography and television.

The screens are powered through a remote control unit that allows us to digitally regulate the color temperature from 3100K to 7600K and dim without color deviation. The display tells us the exact dimmer value and color temperature and the software allows us to vary the color temperature in steps of 100K and dim in steps calibrated at 1/3 of an diaphragm, so that it is no longer necessary to use corrective gelatins. For greater versatility, it has a switch to divert the light towards green or magenta in steps of one-eighth and one-quarter. .

Al tratarse de LED, el encendido y ajuste es instantáneo, la luz no calienta, es flicker free y su vida útil es superior a las 20.000 horas. Las dos pantallas son igual de planas, con apenas seis centímetros, su luz es envolvente y suave pero al llevar lentes fresnel se puede dirigir y como son articuladas podemos variar la anchura del haz de luz desde los 30º a los 90º.

Características

La 6Light es una pantalla cuadrada compuesta por seis barras articuladas, midiendo en su conjunto 382 x 297 x 69mm. Ofrece 1150 lúmenes a tres metros con un consumo de 150W. Por su parte, la 4Long es rectangular con cuatro barras articuladas, suponiendo una superficie de 745 x 202 x 69mm y ofreciendo 1450 lúmenes a 3 metros con un consumo de 200W.

Están disponibles con múltiples accesorios como rótula de anclaje rápido, filtro difusor, horquilla para unir varias unidades, viseras… Thelight se distribuye en España a través de Cinegallery, empresa que estará presente en Broadcast’09.
