Grau and Rosco renew their alliance

After a quarter of a century working hand in hand, Rosco Ibérica and Grau Luminotecnia have once again renewed their trust for the distribution in Spanish territory of all the products of one of the world's largest manufacturers of scenographic solutions.

This relationship, which has spanned the last quarter of a century, consolidates Grau as one of the most powerful distributors of Rosco stage solutions in Spain.

Among the countless products for lighting and scenography that Grau distributes, we would like to highlight two on this occasion: LitePad HO and Skylight.

LitePad HO

LitePad HO is a light source with a thickness of only 8mm that generates a very soft and uniform beam of light. Its small shape and lightness make it perfect for use in many places where a typical, larger spotlight would not fit. Using just a few watts of power, the LitePad LEDs last approximately 60,000 hours. The LitePad HO delivers 33% more power than its predecessor LitePad DL; Its color temperature is 6,000K.

The LitePad HO is a simple, fast and economical solution for film, video and photography applications, as well as for various theatrical, architectural projects or for window and event lighting. The LitePad HO is available in standard eight-size configurations and custom-made upon request. The 8 standard sizes available are: 3×6” (7.62×15.24cm), 6×6” (15.24×15.24cm), 3×12” (7.62×30.48cm), 6×12” (15.24×30.48cm), 12×12” (30.48×30.48cm), 24×24” (60.96×60.96cm), circular 3” (7.62cm) and circular 12” (30.48cm).

Grau Luminotecnia also offers it in 2 kits to facilitate the choice of the product, the basic kit, with 6 panels, and the gaffer kit with 12. Precisely, the company Servicevisión has just acquired one of each kit for its rental services.

Skylight

On the other hand, Skylight is the new product in the textile range developed by Rosco. In the last three years it has become fashionable to illuminate large surfaces with Spacelights, which are circular ceiling lights from 2 to 6kW with diffusion jackets that can be partially covered with opaque black fabric jackets. The fabrics end up deteriorating or burning, or you simply need another type of textile or to correct its color temperature. That's where Rosco's Skylights come into play, which are textile “shirts” custom made for each brand with different diffusers and other materials to achieve the lighting desired by the director of photography. Rosco Skylights are attached to the circular ceiling with Velcro.

Some examples could be grid cloth shirts with 25, 50 or 100% blue dyed in the fabric itself, with the bottom diffuser made of the same textile or opaque, or an opaque shirt with the bottom diffuser made of grid cloth to direct all the light downwards.
