Sennheiser has launched, coinciding with ProLight+Sound, its first adjustable ear microphones with single-sided attachment. They use the smallest mirco capsule, the MKE 1, in the EarSet 1 and the HSP 4 cardiod for the new EarSet 4.

Ideal for broadcast and stage applications, Sennheiser has just introduced the new EarSet series of ear-adjustable microphones with single-side attachment. The EarSet 4 offers a cardioid pickup pattern, while the EarSet 1 is the omnidirectional version. These new microphones, specifically the EarSet4, have already been used experimentally by the singer Pink on her Funhouse world tour.

These new EarSets use Sennheiser's smallest microphone capsule, the MKE 1, in the EarSet 1 and the HSP 4 cardioid for the EarSet 4. The quality of the capsules and the perfect distance between them and the mouth, together with their robust design and precise mechanical adjustment, ensure high quality sound both in performances with great movement and display of energy, as well as discretion and elegance when serving as a presenter microphone.

The EarSet 1 is insensitive to wind or popping noise, making it easy to operate, and the EarSet 4 is the ideal choice for high-volume scenarios, as it effectively suppresses ambient noise and has excellent feedback rejection.

Both microphones are very light, thanks to their silicone structure they offer great comfort when carrying them, and they are very resistant to sweat and humidity. Both the ear clip and microphone boom easily adjust to the user's head and ear profiles. Its robust cable, just 1mm in diameter, is low sensitive to mechanical or structural vibrations.
