Sencore, specialized in solutions to monitor video and audio quality, and Bridge Technologies, developer of monitoring systems from the headend to the set-top-box for IPTV operators, have announced a strategic alliance to market the Videobridge line.

Sencore, specialized in solutions for monitoring video and audio quality, and Bridge Technologies, developer of head-end to set-top-box monitoring systems for IPTV operators, have announced a strategic alliance to market the Videobridge line of advanced video analysis, measurement, and surveillance instruments for broadcast, cable, and satellite operators around the world.

VideoBridge employs IP packets in the broadcast stream to ensure continuous quality of the entire network from start to finish, locating and resolving problems anywhere in the supply chain almost immediately and ensuring consistent signal delivery at the highest quality.

Thomas Stingley, executive vice president of sales at Sencore, commented that "with the extension of our current agreement with Bridge, Sencore will fully support the product line under the Sencore brand. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Bridge Technologies to offer IPTV, DTH and cable operators over IP measurement tools and end-to-end surveillance solutions through our distribution network worldwide."

For his part, Philip Burnham, sales director at Bridge Technologies, wanted to highlight the long-standing relationship with Sencore, "a company known for its expertise in the industry, and we look forward to working together to bring these products to customers around the world. Our decision to extend our partnership with Sencore reflects the growing global awareness in the industry that supervision is crucial to a successful operation. The alliance will benefit both current and future customers who aim to offer a high-quality service quickly and effectively, while keeping operating costs to a minimum."
