Telefónica del Sur in Chile uses IPTV monitoring from Bridge Technologies

Telefónica del Sur in Chile has deployed an end-to-end VideoBridge network for monitoring and analysis that includes VB220 technology from Bridge Technologies.

The fourth largest telecommunications company in Chile, and the first to introduce IPTV services, offers Internet, cellular and landline telephony, along with a pioneering set of IPTV channels, Telefónica del Sur has deployed a complete monitoring and analysis system based on Bridge Technologies.

VideoBRIDGE provides Telefónica del Sur with complete analysis and graphical presentation of sophisticated complex data in real time by adding powerful SQL database functions, advanced graphical displays, automatic detection, improved device control and support for the widest range of standards and formats.

Telefónica del Sur plans to purchase more VB220 probes in 2012, to increase the reach of its surveillance infrastructure as its customer base increases.
