Radiography of the audiovisual sector in the Valencian Community
The AIDO Innovation Center, in collaboration with the Audiovisuals Valencianes Federades (EAVF) business has presented the study “Prospecting and analysis of training in the audiovisual sector of the Valencian Community” both in the Aido headquarters (Valencia) and in the city of Luz (Alicante).

The objective of the study has been to reflect and analyze the professional and employment competences of the audiovisual sector of the Valencian Community so that actions aimed at the orientation, advice and support of the workers of both said industry and those other sectors close to the audiovisual can be specified.
Among the main conclusions are three factors that characterize the sector in terms of its human capital providing it with an accentuated learning capacity: an average age 36 years, which makes up a young human team but with sufficient experience; A majority of university degrees, whether diploma or graduates; and a labor age in the sector close to 10 years.
Another relevant fact of the study refers to the complete university training of professionals in the audiovisual sector, because in the Valencian Community there is a more than sufficient offer of degrees and places.
On the other hand, the activity generated by the television productions is configured as the field that hosts the audiovisual professionals in greater number, gradually increasing this percentage representation over the time of 34.8% to 41.7% current.
In addition, the information collected shows that the technical and creative positions are the ones that are most increasing their demand. According to entrepreneurs in the sector surveyed for the study, these profiles are the most necessary and paradoxically, those that are most hardly found in the labor market.
The study refers to the fact that the City of Light is configured as a employment -generating environment, with great possibility of future growth, and with a training center that, at this time, would be its infrastructure offered great potentiality.
It should be noted that throughout the research professionals in the audiovisual industry agree to recognize Aido as the private non -regulated reference training center for the sector.
