TVE will participate in the Spanish animation series created by Enne Entertainment Studios and co-produced with Imira Entertainment. The production cost is 8 million euros including approximately 120 video mini-games integrated into the series.

Spanish Television has just resolved its latest call for co-production of children's series, announcing that it will participate in two new series, including the 3D animation project, Escape Hockey.

Aimed at an audience between 6 and 12 years old, Escape Hockey (26×26’) is a mix of comedy and space adventure that tells the story of Dan, a young man who is abducted along with his friends to a prison planet called Plutonium. The production cost is 8 million euros including approximately 120 video mini-games integrated into the series.

“TVE continues to focus on quality formats for its children's programming and good proof of this is the decision to participate in the co-production of the 3D animated series, Escape Hockey. “This is a project that complies with TVE's editorial line due to its level of quality, its content and its innovation. Escape Hockey It will entertain and stimulate the little ones but will also help us maintain one of our priority objectives: providing a programming model that is a reference of security and confidence for parents and educators,” said José Juan Ruiz Sánchez, director of children's and youth programs at TVE.

Roberto Martín, general director of Enne Entertainment Studios, states that this co-production agreement is great support for a series and format that have already raised great international expectations at festivals such as Cartoon Forum, KidsScreen Summit and MIPTV. "We are very proud that a network like TVE is participating in the co-production of Escape Hockey. We have worked very hard over these years to be able to offer added value to viewers, using more interactive and innovative tools. TVE has been able to appreciate the potential of this new format and for us it is very important to work alongside professionals with this enormous experience and know-how in the media and audiovisual industry," acknowledged Martín.
