The feature film of Álex de la Iglesia, awarded the Silver Leon for the best director and the Osella for the best script in the 67th edition of the Venice Film Festival, has postputed in Molinare with Ferrán Piquer as supervisor. The film has more than 600 effects of effects and rolled material with up to five different formats.

The new Álex de la Iglesia film, a sad ballad of trumpet, has been postproduced in Molinare with Mistika as the heart of the entire post-production process. The film, which has recently achieved the silver lion at the 67th Venice Festival to the best direction, has been supervised in its passage through Molinare through Ferrán Piquer.

The complete color correction and DI work has been achieved with Jorge Hernández and Juan Ignacio Cabrera, and other VFX artists such as Oscar Perea and editor Marta looks, using the Mistika postproduction system.

Ferran Piquer, head of the Digital Film Department in Molinare Madrid, commented that “with more than 600 effects of effects and material shot up to 5 different formats, in addition to the different archive image sequences, Mistika became the true heart of the postproduction. Its postproduction power allowed to refine the integration of the FX plans according to the look that was wanted for the movie, it did not I had, in touch -ups, transfers and reconformed ”

Another of Mistika's VFX artists in Molinare, Juan Ignacio Cabrera added that “the speed and flexibility of Mistika have been crucial to send the material on time, since the delivery date was very tight. The color correction of Mistika is very robust, and the system worked 24 hours for three weeks at full power”.

The film produced by Tornasol Films and set in the Spanish Civil War and in the 70s will reach the screens on December 17.
