The Public Demonstration Center in Audiovisual Technologies, located in the Walqa Technology Park (Huesca) will have an advanced 2D and 3D post-production room based on Mistika de Sgo. The Mistika workstation will be connected to the center's data flow through a high-speed network, so that sharing and distributing content is done in the fastest and easiest way.

The Public Demonstration Center in Audiovisual Technologies, located in the Walqa Technology Park, in Huesca, will have the most advanced technology in post-production based on the Mistika solution from Sgo.

The head of the ITA's Multimedia Technologies Division, Diego Romero, highlighted that "we wanted to have the most advanced technology in post-production and 3D stereoscopy to make it available to companies. Without a doubt, the international reference in the sector is Mistika, which is also a product developed by a Spanish company."

For this reason, “we will have a high-performance workstation, both in editing and in 2D/3D capture and visualization, along with a complete license for the Sgo software,” details Romero.

Mistika's workstation will be connected to the center's data flow via a high-speed network, so that sharing and distributing content is done as quickly and easily as possible using the center's infrastructure.

The post-production process has been taken care of “to the maximum”, attending to all its phases. For the generation of content, the latest stereoscopic technologies have been taken into account with minimum resolutions of 2K per eye with cinematographic or FullHD cameras with dual optics, says the Aragonese Executive in a statement.

Regarding the broadcast of the contents, “you can use a high-performance TV headend, view them directly through a Barco 3D projector with 7.1 audio or broadcast it in adaptive streaming from the infrastructure of content servers available to the Center,” says Diego Romero.

The Public Demonstration Center in Audiovisual Technologies emerged from an agreement between the Public Entity RED.ES, dependent on the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and the Technological Institute of Aragon (ITA). It is conceived as a space where companies related to the multimedia and audiovisual sector can carry out technological demonstrations, with an eminently practical nature, to their clients of both innovative products and services based on Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).
