Two spots for Coca-Cola and one for Schweppes, awarded in the “Advertising in the Museum” contest

‘Plañidera’ produced by Garage Films, ‘Encuentro’ directed by Landia, both for Coca-Cola; and 'Subida del Cartel', executed by Pendelton Films, have emerged as the three winning spots of the Advertising Excellence awards in the V Advertising Creativity Artistic Contest La Advertising in the Museum, organized annually by the International Advertising Association (IAA).

Plañidera from the agency Mrs. Rushmore (produced by Garage Films), Meeting by McCann Erickson (produced by Landia), both for Coca-Cola; and Poster Upload from the Gray agency for Schweppes (produced by Pendelton Films), have emerged as the three winning spots of the Advertising Excellence awards in the V Advertising Creativity Artistic Contest La Advertising in the Museum, organized annually by the International Advertising Association (IAA).

In graphic work the jury of “Advertising in the Museum” has chosen the work of Mrs. Rushmore for Renfe (Tetris), by McCann for Greenpeace (Men's shoe) and the Bap Conde agency for Blusens (The Orgy of the Senses).

A jury made up of art critics and advertising professionals previously chose, out of more than 200 works, the 35 audiovisual works and many others in graphic format that, as finalists, make up the audiovisual that could be viewed at Caixa Forum, the Cervantes Institute and La Casa Encendida.”

“Advertising in the Museum” is part of MUSA 2010, the first exhibition of Art and Advertising that invites citizens to reflect on the links between Art and Advertising, through the organization of various activities such as the popular call “Miradas”, exhibitions, performances and international conferences.

Musa has the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of the Presidency, the Madrid City Council, the Cervantes Institute and the Complutense University.
