AMX will show its latest technological proposals at ISE

AMX is once again present at Integrated Systems Europe 2011 (from February 1 to 3 at the Amsterdam RAI, in the Dutch capital) to show its range of solutions in terms of digital signage, management suites, HDMI, TPControl and Meeting Room.

Visitors to the AMX booth at ISE will be able to experience, first-hand, the AMX technologies that have simplified the world for the past 28 years. A series of interactive areas will showcase the global character of the AMX range. In the Digital Media area, visitors can learn about the Inspired Signage digital signage software suite, including Inspired XPert, a cutting-edge digital system with capabilities straight out of a futuristic movie. Inspired XPert has enough processing power to simultaneously display high-definition (1080p) video, images, text, and Internet feeds.

HDMI UTPro

The area dedicated to HDMI and TPControl will bring high definition into collective focus. Visitors will be able to discover the possibilities of the HDMI UTPro. Capable of transmitting uncompressed high definition content at 1920x1200 up to 100 meters, the HDMI UTPro is a complete matrix switcher that provides eight channels of HDMI, with HDCP authentication, over a network and a single UTP cable. AMX will also demonstrate the tools it is providing to its distributors to integrate, within reliable and complementary control, devices such as the iPad and iPhone into an automation platform.

Resource management

The area dedicated to the Resource Management Suite (RMS) will be a showcase of this innovative software package for room management and scheduling and equipment monitoring. AMX RMS achieves unprecedented functionality and controllability in a wide variety of different applications, ensuring that a facility's limited resources can be proactively managed and maintained to extract the most optimal and environmentally efficient performance from them.

Visitors will also be able to learn about the latest in Meeting Room technology, innovations such as the HydraPort, the completely modular retractable cable connection system, built to provide a solution to the diverse connection needs of any meeting or conference room, and the DVX Total Environment Controller, the combination in one of all the components necessary to control and automate any environment. The DVX is a simple, flexible and complete solution, including control, multi-format inputs, video distribution, transcoding and scaling, local and remote distribution, plus audio mixing, and amplification, all in one box.

The latest member of the Epica DGX Fiber Matrix Switcher family, the DGX, will be the focus of the SmartScale technology demonstration area. This product offers extremely high performance and functionality, which together with the innovative SmartScale technology with which it is equipped, has made this product line the most successful launch in the history of AMX.

Also on display will be the latest edition of AMX Modero's award-winning range of touch panels, the 9" widescreen MVP-9000i. The elegant MVP-9000i is equipped with the latest innovations in touch panel technology, taking the user experience to a new level, and featuring a next-generation user interface that improves finger navigation and adds animated page transitions. In turn, the area dedicated to the Novara series will focus on the Novara 3000 Series, one of the most versatile product lines in the commercial control market, this unique product is both a standalone user interface and an integrated controller that can be easily configured to activate lights, audiovisual equipment and HVAC systems.
