On May 19 and 20, the fourth edition of the CONTD Conference will take place, presented by the University of Valencia and the Official Master's Degree in Audiovisual Content and Formats, which, as in previous years, will have the collaboration of Video IEC and will bring together experts, professionals and academics to debate television fiction as an audiovisual macrogenre.

On May 19 and 20, the fourth edition of the CONTD Conference will take place, presented by the University of Valencia and the Official Master in Audiovisual Content and Formats which, as in previous years, will have the collaboration of Video IEC for live broadcast through the website www.uv.es/contd in the “Multimedia” section, and where Video IEC will participate by providing technical resources, collaborating in the realization and Internet broadcast of these sessions in HD.

With the title “Fiction in the new virtual scenario” experts, professionals and academics will reflect and debate television fiction as an audiovisual macrogenre that aspires to achieve the best quality quotas. Film production and innovation in different fiction formats for television that still make up the best slots in television programming.

The conference will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication of the University of Valencia. Where various experts and professionals will debate and present their different visions on fiction in the new audiovisual scenario, to convert the CONTD Conference, together with the participation of the attending public, into a forum that allows defining and reflecting on this issue in a context of redefining the audiovisual scenario in Spain with the arrival of "digital switching" and the increase in supply.

Attendance at the IV CONTD Conference is free, and although they are open to the general public, they are especially aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students in communication, professionals in the audiovisual sector and researchers and experts in audiovisual media.
