Eiken organizes the first professional day on 3D

“3D3H -3 Dimensions in 3 Hours”, will be held next Tuesday the 28th at the Golem cinemas in Alhóndiga Bilbao.

Eiken – Audiovisual Cluster of Euskadi, in collaboration with Itesa/Erpin 360, the Txorierri Polytechnic School, and with the support of Bilbao Next, will hold the First Professional Conference on Stereoscopy (3D) next Tuesday, June 28. The objective is to present the capabilities developed in 3D to the professional sector, as well as promote specific training in this field and show the successful experiences carried out in our environment.

The meeting is structured around various conferences by experts in the field of 3D, and includes the projection of material recorded with this technology, as well as details of the recording and post-production processes. The program has been designed to offer a double vision: professional and educational.

The opening of the day will be led by Marcos Muro, director of Bilbao Next and Juan Mari Gurrutxaga, president of Eiken – Audiovisual Cluster of Euskadi. Immediately after, the presentations will begin, which will be given by Juan Ángel San Vicente and Jon Arisketa, from the Txorierri Polytechnic School, Javier Cabanas, from the Navarrese company D4D Ingeniería Visual, and José María Aragonés Gaya, from the Barcelona post-production studio Apuntolapospo.

As a culmination of the day, various materials made with stereoscopic techniques will be projected, corresponding to work carried out by the three collaborating companies. These jobs include everything from sports broadcasts to television advertisements and feature films.
