5G networks and their impact on radio; post-production in 4K, ACES and 8K; the dissemination of HDR content on DTT and HbbTV; live remote production; or production over IP in large sporting events... are some of the topics that will be addressed on March 7 at the Fuenlabrada Campus (Madrid) of the URJC.

URJC Audiovisual Conference

The Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering of the Rey Juan Carlos University organize next Thursday, March 7, a conference on innovation in audiovisual production.

Aunque la jornada está dirigida a alumnos de la alumnos de la ETSIT, estará abierta a cuantos profesionales quieran acudir.

En este encuentro participarán Javier Sánchez, responsable de responsable de estrategia del Centro de Innovación (RTVE), que reflexionará sobre el impacto de las redes 5G en la radio; el colorista DI y diseñador de workflows 4K HDR (Backlight Room), Luis Ochoa, que planteará los procesos de postproducción en entornos HDR, ACES y 8K; Miguel Ángel Chacón, jefe de proyectos de ingeniería (Mediaset Spain) que planteará la difusión de contenidos HDR en TDT y HbbTV; Oscar Terán, Head of Technology & Solutions (Eurovision Services), which will address the possibilities opened by remote live production and cloud workflows; and Yeray Alfageme, Business Technology Manager, who will analyze IP production for large international sporting events.

The day will take place starting at 4 in the afternoon in the Hall of Degrees of the Departmental Building I of the Fuenlabrada Campus of the URJC.
