Great turnout at the Decode Open Day
Decode recently held an Open House and 2D/3D Training Day in which numerous professionals from the sector gathered interested in the latest developments from this English firm specialized in the rental of 3D equipment.
The founder of Decode, Samuel Martin, has assured that the day held at the Wimbledon Studios (London) was a complete success. "It was a very well attended event. There was an interesting mix ranging from rig technicians, stereographers and producers (people from production companies of all fields) to students who want to learn more about 3D production.
Everyone had the opportunity to take a look at our new facilities and familiarize themselves with our 3D mirror rigs, as well as discuss with our own technicians and stereographers the advantages of these types of platforms. Personally, I think it was a great opportunity to speak in person with our current and future clients and chat in an informal and relaxed way about their questions and needs. “I'm already looking forward to our next open day, which will take place in a couple of months,” said Martin.
The event was organized to coincide with the Wimbledon Studios open day, which itself attracts a large audience, and many of these people spent a lot of time getting to know the new Decode equipment and the company's staff. The English company showed its new D-Rex 3D mirror rig configured and working live on 3D monitors so that everyone could see and discuss its characteristics with the firm's experts. It also showcased two of its new ARRI Arri cameras, as well as its Steadicam Mk-V.
The Wimbledon Studios open day also featured a street party, with drinks and a barbecue in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which was a great opportunity for potential clients to see what Decode, 3Dcode and Wimbledon Studios had to offer.
