For-A's new VFC-7000 compact camera allows you to perform super-slow-motion effects in high definition at speeds of up to 700 fps.

The manufacturer of video and audio systems For-A now has the VFC-7000, a variable frame rate camera capable of reaching up to 700 fps at HD resolution (1280 X 720).

This compact and very light-weight camera features a high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and a high-precision electronic shutter capable of capturing rapid object movements at 1/200,000 fractions of a second.

The new For-A camera is a camcorder type, and consists of the camera head, main body, F or PL mount lens, recorder and carrying handle in one integrated package. In addition, it comes standard with a touch panel that controls playback, recording and the rest of the camera's functions and offers the possibility of powering via DC disk, outdoors, when there is no power source.

It has two HD-SDI output channels (720/59.94p), with simultaneous output signal for live and recording, Genlock capacity and an internal memory of 9.8 seconds of Full HD recording (700 fps) that can be extended up to 29.5 seconds with an optional external memory. The recording is similar to Phantom type cameras, the contents are continuously stored in a memory and the parts that interest us are saved. To transfer the material, simply connect the camera to any editor or external storage via Ethernet.
