The Asturian autonomous community celebrates 2,000 days

TPA has carried out 28.56% of its programming live, with a total of 10,914 hours and 38 minutes.

On December 9, TPA will complete a total of 2,000 days on air since the beginning of regular broadcasts on June 9, 2006. In this time, the channel has broadcast more than 38,000 hours of programming and has fulfilled its objective of bringing current news to Asturians live, as shown by 37.49% of the hours broadcast in these 2,000 days, a total of 14,327 hours and 6 minutes, correspond to the genre of information and current events.

Regional television has gained the support of Asturians thanks to the programmatic effort developed in these 2,000 days on air, focused on self-produced programs and live broadcasts. 58.99% of the content on the programming grid, a total of 22,546 hours and 33 minutes, have been programs produced by the network. Of them, 1,555 hours and 46 minutes, 4.07%, have been programs in Asturian.

This anniversary coincides with a very delicate moment in the Asturian autonomous community due to the budget cuts imposed by the Government of the Principality.
