VM Broadcast acquires two Sony F65s

VM Broadcast acquires two units of Sony's new Alta Cine camera that will be available in February 2012.

VM Broadcast acquires two units of the new Cine Alta camera Sony, the F65. VM Broadcast clients will be able to count on it starting February 2012 for their most ambitious productions, whether film, TV or advertising.

Presented at IBC 2011, the new Sony camera represents a true revolution in the world of capture. Thanks to its 20 megapixel 8K sensor, it is capable of generating a 4k and authentic HD2K digital cinema signal, which many venture to define as the closest thing to the 35mm negative.

As the main accessory, the camera has the SR Master SR-R4 portable recorder designed specifically for the camera and which has all the advantages of the very high-speed SRMemory platform to record RAW data of extraordinary richness from the F65 at a speed that reaches 5 Gbps.

The SR-R4 records to SRMemory cards. It is a revolutionary memory medium for the most demanding film, live studio and post-production applications, even in 3D.
