New solutions for automation from Mosart at NAB 2012
Mosart now supports eight audio switcher manufacturers, five video switcher manufacturers, nine video server brands, nine graphics systems and six robotic camera systems.
Among the new solutions that Mosart will show at NAB 2012 highlights version 3.0 of its Newscast Automation system. It now includes a series of new features and functions and the graphical interface has been redesigned with complete user configurability, achieving more versatile and powerful studio automation. Cameras, clips, graphics can now be easily assigned to quick and easy access buttons.
A number of interface descriptions can also be assigned to the buttons, adapting the GUI from a touch screen to any type of television production.
Pieces coming from the newsroom will now be displayed directly in the Mosart GUI, allowing operators to store clips and graphic elements ready for execution at any time.
Mosart 3.0 also includes interfaces to Grass Valley's Harris Nexio and K2 servers, as well as audio mixers from Calrec and Stagetec, and Xpression, Casper and Pixelpower graphics systems, plus virtual studio systems from Brainstorm and robotics from Camerobot. Mosart extends support with new support for OpenMedia from Annova and Octopus, plus iNews, ENPS, Dalet News and Norcom.
Thus, Mosart is now compatible with eight audio mixer manufacturers, five video mixer manufacturers, nine video server brands, nine graphics systems and six robotic camera systems.
At NAB 2012, the company will introduce a Virtual Audio Fader panel that will offer greater control and a better view of audio levels.
For content reformatting and MAM integration, Mosart has improved its integration with control systems such as Snell's Morpheus.
Mosart Multi-Studio
New to NAB, we will see the new Mosart Multi-Studio, an automation system designed for use in multiple studios, providing high efficiency, efficient exchange of resources and coordination between several control rooms. Limited resources such as video server ports and graphics engines can be shared for optimal use of the infrastructure, and the workflow for journalists and production staff is optimized using an automated database of templates, making it possible to create templates that can be reused across multiple control rooms.
