GRASS Valley updates a mobile unit for exteriors of the German Media Mobil

The German producer Media Mobil GmbH has chosen the mixer 3 m/e kayenne, the multipant Trinix NXT and the HD 8000 HD cameras of Grass Valley to rechipate one of its exterior mobile units.

Car media has selected a Grass Valley to re-re-take one of its mobile units for exteriors- the 7- for a summer that will be loaded with events. Unit 7, of large and fixed axis - ampliously used to cover sporting and musical events - has the Grass Valley mixer with 3 m/e kayenne.

Unit 7 infrastructure will be based on the Trinix NXT Router of Grass Valley. To ensure that the mobile unit is ready for any requirement in the future, it is equipped with a 256 × 511 router frame, equipped with a 160 × 192 matrix in addition to a 32 -input multiviewer output. The incorporation of the Multiviewer into the Trinix NXT router allows to save space and energy, eliminating the need for external and wiring processing, which reduces the weight of the installation, and therefore saves fuel when it moves from one place to another.

LDK 8000 cameras

MMG has also chosen six GRASS Valley LDK 8000 cameras that use the new 3G transmission system of Unit 7. This solution provides full digital high definition functionality over any triax or fiber, allowing the mobile unit to be used for any project anywhere.

The entire update was designed by Grass Valley systems engineers, and the remodeling is expected to ensure that unit 7 will be in service by the end of next May.
