SI Media's approach in this new solution is based on a horizontal framework focused on two areas: Media Workflow Manager and Advanced Integration Platform.

With Media Workflow Manager, the broadcaster has a solution that allows them to automate media asset transfer processes between the source and any destination.

At the same time, its BMS is, together with the Advanced Integration Platform, a proposal that allows the integration of multiple heterogeneous systems in order to allow communication between them.

In other words, SI Media BMS offers each third-party system and technology an integrated solution that allows it to interface with the most common devices and systems in the industry: video servers, disk files, tape-based LTO libraries, traffic systems, automation, non-linear editing, playout, writing, quality control...

SI Media BMS is, in addition to Media Asset Management (MAM), a comprehensive multi-language manager that supports multiple contents in different formats, including non-video files such as audio, documents or images...

Based on an SQL database, SI Media's proposal allows total customization of the base metadata structure, according to each client, allowing work with a shared file structure that combines libraries and disk repositories.

SI Media BMS also includes rights management and comprehensive cataloging tools with automatic generation of low-resolution proxies and storyboards.
