Telecast appoints Straker Coniglio as international sales director

Coniglio joins Telecast from Avid Technology, where he worked for more than twelve years.

Telecast Fiber Systems has announced the appointment of Straker Coniglio as director of international sales. In his new role, Coniglio will be responsible for all sales operations worldwide including the direct sales force and the distribution channel.

Coniglio joins Telecast from Avid Technology, where he worked for more than twelve years in sales and marketing management for the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, he was senior manager of broadcast solutions where he developed and drove strategic initiatives within the broadcast business segment at Avid. Prior to Avid, he was director of sales and marketing for Asia-Pacific, Pluto Technology and director of production and streaming media at Interactive Video Technologies. Before entering this market, Coniglio worked as a journalist, editor and press photographer for two broadcasters in Honolulu, during which time he received two Emmy Awards for Best Coverage of a Breaking News Story y Single News Broadcast.

He has an MBA from Northeastern University, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and an associate's degree in television production from the University of Hawaii.
