JVC organizes a day to present the GY-HMQ10 4K camera
JVC Professional Europe will present its new 4K camcorder GY-HMQ10 at its offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), on May 31.
JVC Professional Europe has organized a Presentation Day of its new GY-HMQ10 4K camera at its offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), on May 31.
The GY-HMQ10 is a 4K production camera for hand-held filming, which was already presented at the NAB, and which now arrives in Spain.
On this day, four presentations will be held in the morning and one in the afternoon, in which attendees will be able to “touch” the camera directly and shots taken with it will be projected, also using a projector with native 4K resolution.
With 4 times the Full HD resolution, at the heart of the GY-HMQ10 handheld camcorder is a powerful signal process: the so-called Falconbrid, a high-scale integration circuit that processes at high speed the signals generated by a 1/2″ CMOS sensor with 8.3 million active pixels, which generate images of 3840×2160 pixels in real time with Frame Rates of 24p and 50p.

On the other hand, and as a preview for attendees, the new GY-HM600 handheld camcorder will also be demonstrated, a new generation ProHD camcorder that incorporates a new 23X zoom lens with autofocus and an optical block with 3 1/3” CMOS with direct recording to SD cards.
