Egatel will participate in the seventeenth edition of Broadcast Asia

With its presence at Broadcast Asia, which will take place from June 19 to 22 at Suntec (Singapore), it aims to strengthen its presence in the Asian market.

Egatel will present at Broadcast Asia new configurations of the range of high-power liquid-cooled UHF transmitters (TLE6800 series), as well as medium-power air-cooled systems capable of delivering up to 2.4 kW in DVB/ISDB.

Within the TLE6800 series of liquid-cooled transmitters, characterized by its completely modular design, there is the option of integrating the pump system in the same rack as the transmitter, thus achieving a very interesting cost and plant space reduction. The latest generation LDMOS-50 volt transistor technology used in the amplifiers provides very high performance, significantly minimizing energy consumption and, therefore, operating costs.

In air cooling, transmitters are offered based on the 300 Wrms amplifier (DVB/ISDB) with which integrations of a maximum of 8 amplifiers can be carried out, reaching powers of up to 2.4 kW in DVB/ISDB, with very outstanding energy performance. With these amplifiers, unbeatable values ​​are presented in fundamental parameters of the quality of the transmitted signal such as shoulder pad attenuation and MER. Adaptive digital precorrection, already available on most Egatel equipment, allows you to change the channel completely automatically. The system is based on a transfer function analysis based on the direct comparison between the input and a sample of the output.

Regardless of the power or cooling system used, Egatel offers its modulators in 1U 19″ designs for DVB-T/-H/T2, ISDB-T/TB and ATSC standards, complying with the highest technical quality parameters. Likewise, it uses friendly solutions for operation and maintenance, such as the use of control programs based on embedded web servers, removable memories with front insertion for loading and downloading configurations and remote monitoring solutions over SNMP.
