Globecast will exhibit its proposals for content distribution on any platform at IBC
At IBC 2012, GlobeCast will showcase its solutions aimed at making it easier for broadcasters to distribute content beyond traditional channels.
The objective for which Globecast will attend IBC 2012 is that content providers can generate additional income, maintaining competitiveness, through screens, devices and distribution platforms.
At the RAI Center in Amsterdam he will be present alongside Netia, another company in the group.
In terms of content management and distribution, Globecast will showcase scalable playout and source solutions that will allow broadcasters to adapt content to local markets anywhere in the world, totally simplifying content distribution processes.
Netia and Globecast will showcase their joint solution for Media Asset Management (MAM) that aims to help broadcasters and content creators optimize their workflows.
As for new distribution platforms, Globecast will focus on its OTT service offering. This includes a demonstration of business-to-business solutions that allow the development of a complete OTT offering, as well as the new MyGlobeTv consumer platform, recently launched for the Americas.
We will also be able to learn first-hand about their experience with France 24 with hybrid television services based on HbbTv.
Globecast will also show the possibilities offered by its satellite and fiber network with more than 92,000 km around the globe.
Finally, it should be noted that Globecast now offers solutions for content aggregation and distribution. Currently, it has already closed agreements with hundreds of international channels as well as cable, telco and IPTV operators.
