HP shows at SIMO Network 2012 how technology can help companies improve their businesses
More than 500 m² of exhibition will allow visitors to learn about HP's latest advances in the areas of mobility, printing, virtualization, energy efficiency and cloud computing
HP participates in SIMO Network 2012 under the concept Make it matter, and in this year's edition, HP wants to show the technological keys that will allow any company to achieve its objectives and improve its results, making its projects a reality and gaining competitiveness.
At IFEMA, HP presents its most complete offer of equipment and solutions that allow companies to have what is necessary to bring total mobility to companies, improving their productivity by being able to have everything they need to make a difference in their business wherever they are, whenever they want.
Salvador Cayón, Marketing Director of HP Spain, has highlighted that "in a difficult economic environment, organizations must look for new business formulas and address the new opportunities that the market offers them with creativity, courage, ambition and the best resources. HP wants to be a reliable and innovative ally, which accompanies and advises them throughout the process of growth of their business. For this reason, and continuing with our total commitment to the development of the Spanish business fabric, we have brought to SIMO the latest technologies available worldwide that stimulate safe access and "Continuous access to information, while promoting the ability to create and transform businesses, making them more competitive and productive."
In this edition of SIMO Network, the protagonists of the HP stand are the workstations and how they play a fundamental role in the design of competition motorcycles and in the analysis of their performance in MotoGP races. In addition, visitors can experience being in an authentic 'HP Color Laboratory' where experiments will be carried out that will demonstrate the science behind the original supplies. You will also be able to see the renewed offer of Ultrabooks and professional desktops, the new computers with Windows 8 that will hit the market at the end of this year, the company's entire cloud offering and how HP solutions and products allow you to create an efficient office.
Mobility
An idea in motion is a living idea, capable of growing and evolving by itself wherever we are. To do this, it is important to have technology solutions that allow us to evolve our idea, save it, communicate it and share it at any time and from anywhere.
HP presents at SIMO Network its wide range of information access devices: with equipment that is increasingly lighter, more powerful and with greater connectivity capabilities. Among them, the high-end HP EliteBook 8570p laptop, the elegant HP SpectreXT Pro ultrabook and the HP Envy 4 and 6, ultrabooks that stand out for their high multimedia features and low price. In addition, the company's new professional ultrabook will be seen for the first time, the HP EliteBook Folio 9470m, which has a range of up to 21 hours when adding an additional battery.
Likewise, attendees at the fair will be able to see for the first time in Spain the innovative offering of laptops and PCs with Windows 8, which are characterized by combining attractive designs with technologies that make the most of the new Microsoft operating system that will soon hit the market.
Design and technology
This space is dedicated to HP workstations, key pieces of equipment design and performance improvement.
of Moto2 Tuenti HP 40, led by two-time world champion Alfonso ‚Sito‛ Pons. HP provides the most cutting-edge technology, which together with the German engineering company Kalex Engineering, has managed to develop one of the most advanced machines in the Moto2 championship, world champion last year in this competition and which is currently fighting to retain its title.
Visitors to SIMO Network will be able to see a racing motorcycle and listen to explanations of how the HP EliteBook 8770w mobile workstations help the team's engineers improve the performance of the motorcycle, how they record telemetry data and its behavior in each Moto2 Grand Prix. Furthermore, each structural touch-up in its design is carried out in HP Z820 Workstations and the world's first all-in-one workstation, the HP Z1, improving aerodynamic resistance through advanced mathematical calculations and improving stress aspects in the chassis, brakes and damping, all with the aim of improving the performance and speed of the motorcycle.
Ideal for enterprise environments where professionals remotely access applications and virtual desktops, HP thin clients give users access to shared applications and data hosted on servers, reducing operating costs and increasing security.
In this area, visitors will be able to see the world's first Smart Zero Client All-in-One (AiO) (HP t410 AiO) that incorporates the innovative new Power over Ethernet technology, while providing continuous multimedia performance and a completely PC-like experience. This equipment consumes only 13 watts of energy, which represents great energy savings for organizations. With this equipment, customers have a reliable power source that requires less wiring and setup time.
Efficient Office
HP shows at SIMO a space called 'Efficient Office', where visitors will be able to attend live demonstrations of three ways to improve the efficiency of any business. On the one hand, you can see how through two different software solutions (Verdiem for PCs and HP EcoSMART for printers and multifunction equipment) it is possible to define energy saving policies by offering the results and environmental impact in large corporations.
On the other hand, it will be demonstrated with several HP laptops how to achieve maximum security in the equipment through user identification capabilities via facial recognition, fingerprint, etc.; elements that allow great efficiency at work. And, finally, you can see demonstrations of efficiency in business processes with automatic process management solutions with documents with workflow approval.
HP Converged Cloud
To respond and lead companies' cloud implementation, in 2012 HP launched HP Converged Cloud, the industry's first strategy based on a common architecture that encompasses both traditional IT infrastructures and private, managed and public cloud. Designed for the enterprise, HP Converged Cloud provides freedom of choice, confidence and consistency to companies that choose to implement it.
Within HP Converged Cloud, HP CloudSystem is the industry's most complete, open and integrated system for the implementation and management of cloud environments. The solution provides automated management, reduced complexity, and an open, flexible system built on proven, market-leading technology.
This architecture takes into account all deployment models (private, public and hybrid) and cloud service models: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
