Ricardo Villa joins the group Lavinia as director of New Business Development. Villa's experience, who has worked in relevant companies in the media and communication sector, is essential to strengthen the Group in the face of the challenges of internationalization and technological innovation that are being faced in recent years.

Ricardo Villa is a journalist with a long career in the Internet and audiovisual media. He has directed and launched some of the largest multimedia projects in Spain. During his extensive experience he has been director of Interactive Media at RTVE, from where he promoted the digital transformation of public radio television, director of content and digital strategy of the Prisa group's music channels, digital director of Grupo Zeta, deputy director of 20Minutos and responsible for the launch and direction of 20minutos.es, among other projects. He has been Head of Content at Ya.com and has worked on the original design of Terra.

This Madrid journalist has a degree in Law and a master's degree in Journalism from the El País School, the newspaper where he began his career.

Villa has collected numerous national and international awards during his career, such as the Iris from the Television Academy for multimedia coverage of the Olympic Games, the Rose d'Or and España Digital. He has been a regular professor on the RTVE Master's Degree in Television Production and an honorary professor of journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid.
