Glanville was instrumental in the launch of Sky News HD and A Jazeera Sports' coverage of London 2012.

Shaun GlanvilleCamera Corps, a Vitec group company, has announced the appointment of Shaun Glanville as the new Director of Business Development, effective July 15, when he will step down as director of broadcast technology at the London-based company, Supponor.

Graduated from Bournemouth University and Manchester Metropolitan University, Glanville began his career in the broadcast industry in 1996 at Sky, holding roles as production assistant and later production director of sporting events or assistant director of production studios.

In 2007 he founded Prever Media Consultants, working for a wide range of clients including AETN, Beijing Olympic Broadcasting, Guinness, ITFC, Sky Poker, UEFA, VSI and Wembley Stadium, before playing a key role in the UK launch of the UK's first 24 hour high definition news channel, Sky News on election night 2010.

Coinciding with the London 2012 Olympic Games, he played a key role in Al Jazeera Sports' coverage.
