Chelsea TV uses LiveU links in team coverage

Las unidades LU70 de LiveU se están empleando para transmitir los momentos previos y posteriores a los partidos con entrevistas con directivos y jugadores

Chelsea TV, el canal del Chelsea Football Club, está utilizando los enlaces ascendentes celulares LiveU para ofrecer en directo cobertura de algunos de los partidos del club, mejorando así la comunicación con sus seguidores.

LiveU's LU70 units are being used to broadcast pre- and post-match interviews with managers and players, giving them greater access to key personnel, and expanding their live coverage of matches at home and abroad.

LiveU was recently used to cover the pre-season tour of the US and four warm-up matches against the Seattle Sounders, Paris St. Germain, an MLS All-Star match and AC Milan. LiveU technology is used to deliver content to the state-of-the-art facility in Stamford, London via Wi-Fi and 3G networks.
The solution and support has been supplied to Chelsea FC by LiveU's exclusive UK distributor Garland Partners.

Richard Bignell, Director of Content and Production for Chelsea TV, said: "We have done a lot of work with the technology at the end of last season to test and fully understand the benefits. Given the range of coverage we need, due to the obvious demands of a dedicated channel like Chelsea TV, LiveU allows us to provide images that would otherwise be much more complex."

Chelsea TV is a subscription television channel, broadcast on the Sky Digital platform in the United Kingdom and Ireland and broadcast worldwide. Dedicated to Chelsea London fans, Chelsea TV broadcasts a mix of live news, daily updates from the training ground, live commentary and pre- and post-match highlights. The channel is also available via subscription via Chelseafc.com and mobile services in more than 50 countries around the world.
