The TV Academy once again rewards professionals behind the cameras

The Television Academy awards the 2012 Talent Awards to Luz Aldama, Koldo Anasagasti, Jaime de Armiñán, Bernabé Domínguez, Juan García Doncell, Juan Ramón Gonzalo Carballal, Lluís María Güell, Pepe Huertas Juan Manuel Martín de Blas, Juan Jesús Ortíz, Jordi Roca, Alejandro Samanes, Alfonso Santisteban and Pilar Vergara.

The Board of Directors of the Academy of Television Sciences and Arts has voted in its last meeting for the 2012 Talent Awards among all the candidates presented by the academics and by the Board itself.

In its twelfth edition, the awards have gone to: Luz Aldama (Director of current affairs programs at Antena 3 TV), Koldo Anasagasti (Executive producer and founder of Trauko Management), Jaime de Armiñán (Writer and director), Bernabé Domínguez (Photojournalist and director), Juan García Doncell (Director of Photography, Illuminator and teacher), Juan Ramón Gonzalo Carballal (Director of El Programa de Ana Rosa), Lluís María Güell (Director, director and producer); Pepe Huertas (CEO of GECA, Imagina International Sales and Globomedia Música and member of the Management Committee of the Globomedia Group), Juan Manuel Martín de Blas (Journalist, director and screenwriter), Juan Jesús Ortíz (Director and director), Jordi Roca (Program Director of 7 y Acción), Alejandro Samanes (General Director of 13 TV), Alfonso Santisteban (Composer, Orchestra director and music producer) and Pilar Vergara (News Director of Canal Sur).

The Talent Awards ceremony will take place on November 21, International Television Day, and will feature the participation of numerous small screen professionals. The president of the Academy Manuel Campo Vidal has highlighted “the difficulty that the Board of Directors has had in choosing the final winners given the magnificent careers of the proposed candidates.”

The Talent Awards are proposed by academics and voted on by the Academy's Board of Directors. To be eligible for this award, the candidate must have performed their professional work behind the cameras with brilliance and general recognition.
