SGL continues its expansion by appointing Juan Valcárcel as architectural technician

Valcárcel will be responsible for the execution and support of customer installations in North and Latin America.

Software Generation (SGL), provider of solutions for media management and archiving, has reinforced its commitment to the North American and Latin American region with the appointment of Juan Valcárcel as architectural technician. Valcárcel will be responsible for the execution and support of customer installations in North and Latin America.

With extensive engineering experience in the broadcast sector, Valcárcel most recently held the position of Senior Field Engineer/Training Coordinator at Avid for six years.

In this company he worked on projects throughout South America, China (Hong Kong), Indonesia, Canada and the United Kingdom, earning him the consideration of Avid's 'Employee of the Year' in 2008. Previously, he held positions at Vidycom and City TV, both in Colombia.
