Steve Ellis, New Broadcast Pix CEO

Before its incorporation to Broadcast Pix, Ellis has played different managerial positions in telecoma, pinnacle or vizrt.

Veteran Steve Ellis will join from February 11 to the team of Broadcast Pix as its new president and CEO. On the other hand, the co-founder and so far CEO, Ken Swanton, will continue to participate actively in the day-to-day life of the company and in the Board of Directors.

Ellis stressed that "Broadcast Pix invented the Integrated Professional Video Production System and has thousands of satisfied customers worldwide. Now we will increase our sales and marketing efforts, as well as build the necessary alliances to carry this technology even, beyond video professionals."

In 1988, he was appointed vice president and general director of Boston Editel, a producer specialized in graphics and brading for television and commercial cinema. In 1992, Snny co-founded and was the upper Pinnacle Systems distributor. In 1999, he was hired by Pinnacle as sales director for the Americas, and was a key member of the team that directed the rapid growth of the company and its subsequent acquisition by Avid. Then he joined Vizrt as vice president of sales for operations in North America.
