Autodesk experts bring 3D animation to professionals

Stuart Holloway, an Autodesk expert who worked on the animation of films such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and Patrice Paradis, a global authority on Autodesk Maya who joined Autodesk through Alias ​​Systems in 2006, participate in an event organized by Techex in Madrid.

The two experts from Autodesk, Stuart Holloway and Patrice Paradis, animation specialists, led the 'Meet the Expert' work session organized by Techex in Madrid around Autodesk Smoke, the company's editing and special effects software, which releases its 2013 version, an all-in-one system with timeline editing, color correction, composition and 2D and 3D effects.

The session, presented by José Ángel Palacio, and with presentations by Holloway and Paradis, showed the work process on an animation scene from a short film with the new Smoke, a video editing and visual effects software for Mac that integrates high-end effects tools into a standard non-linear video editing system. The software has been built since its first version with very valuable feedback, that of thousands of users who tested the first versions by downloading a beta or testing at different events and fairs, and offered suggestions for improvement.
