Virtual Set con Neon de Hybrid

Al-Nahar TV, one of the leading broadcasters in Egypt, has launched two virtual studios with robotic cameras powered by Hybrid.

Its technology will transform news, entertainment and sports broadcasts through its different channels.

Each studio will use the same configuration of Hybrid solutions: two Silver II PTZF robotic heads, a Cobalt software control panel and a camera located at the top of each set to provide overhead shots. All of this, managed from Hybrid's Neon virtual set system.

Systems Design and Technology KAR have been Hybrid's local partners in charge of launching the project.

Al-Nahar TV since its launch in June 2011 has become one of the top three television networks. It has a total of five channels in Arabic and English, with virtual sets playing a prominent role in all of them.

Hybrid SilverIIHybrid's Neon virtual set system features the same engine as its high-end Krypton system, allowing for virtual and real camera movements in real time. Only a PC is required and the software works with a simple drag-and-drop process. This technology creates the illusion of sophisticated camera movements within a virtual set without the use of a tracking system, chroma keyer or other accessories. This fully portable virtual set proposal can import 3D scenes and models from common modeling software such as 3D Max, Maya and Softimage.
