Half a thousand smartphones to produce a curious spot with stop motion
One thousand six hundred cardboard figures, around 800 photographs for each character and half a thousand smartphones make possible the curious campaign for the launch of Pantech's new smartphone.
The South Korean Pantech Curiel has used the stop motion technique to carry out the production of a new launch campaign for its Vega 6 smartphone.
Set in Matrix, in the filming of the spot, more than half a thousand telephones have been used as part of the urban set.
Throughout a fast-paced chase, the spot recreates buildings and streets of a big city only with the use of the company's smartphones.
More than three weeks of production were invested in the filming of the spot, with 1,600 cardboard figures and around 800 photographs for each character. To capture all the material it took a whole week and more than 170 hours of final animation. This is the result and the making of the production…
