New Sachtler heads for the Sony F5 and F55
Video 18 S1, Video 20 S1, Cine 7+7 HD and Cine 30 HD are emerging as ideal solutions for the weights and load balancing of the Sony F5 and F55 models.
Sachtler, a division of the Vitec group, has just introduced its ENG/EFP fluid heads Video 18 S1, Video 20 S1, Cine 7+7 HD and Cine 30 HD as ideal companions for the F5 and F55 camera models. Sony.
Depending on the load, professionals who use these cameras can choose the Video 18 S1 (2-18kg) or the Video 20 S1 (2-25kg). In this way, users have the possibility to equip the cameras with heavy lenses, matte boxes and other accessories. Both fluid heads feature Sachtler's SpeedBalance technology and the already popular Boost Button. With 16-step counterbalance, camera settings can be balanced precisely and instantly.
To align both the front and rear configuration of the camera so that the COG is directly above the exact point on the head, Sachtler has developed a 150 millimeter plate conforming to the COG Plate standard (code 1063).
For more complex configurations, mounting the heads on high-end tripods, the Cine 7+7 HD is a help as it allows mounting and easy access to settings.
Featuring Speedbalance technology, Boost Button and a 16-step counterweight, the 150mm plate length ensures optimized camera adjustments up to 22kg. For the even heavier configuration, the Cine 30 HD 150 head is designed for work with cameras such as ARRI (with weights up to 35 kg with COG 125 mm).
All of these heads offer precise movements thanks to a seven-bar system vertically and horizontally and can be combined with Sachtler tripods in their 100 millimeter range. The 100/150 adapter (code 3901) expands the range of selection to give even more stability to the Cine 30 tripods.
